Field Trips
Field trips are all mandatory except the ones indicated as optional by the administration during the year. There is 7 to 8 Field Trips during the year (indoors and outside the school). Generally speaking, all field trips are outside the school except during winter months (January, February, March), but that can change as the school deems suitable. When the field trips are outside the school, we hire First Student bus company to transport the students and staff. We might ask parents help in transportation in certain situations. We will ask for Chaperon parents as needed.
Optional field trips are billed separately from the Field Trips field above.
Security Fee
This fee is to cover Armed Security Guard on the school premises. The guard is hired through a licensed and bonded security company. This fee also covers the expenses for staff to get Shooter Training.
Educational Resources (Textbooks, Novels, Testing Material, Manipulatives, etc.)
This covers a wide array of items used to help students' education. This includes textbooks for the different subjects, sets of novels, class educational material and/or Montessori material, Art and Gym supplies and equipment, Science equipment, tools for experiments and field studies, and many more
Technology Fee
Each student is grades 4-8 is assigned an individual Chromebook. Students in those grades use a plethora of tech platforms to further their education such as Google Education Suite, Microsoft Office 365, Clever, ALEKS, MathXL, Keyboarding, and few more. Students in grades 2 and 3 use Chromebooks for the Technology classes throughout the year.
School Supplies
This covers all consumable school supplies (pencils, paper, crayons, etc.). Students are only asked to bring a very limited set of personal items depending on their grade (example: TI-84 Calculator, Backpack)
TUITION & FEES POLICY
In the case of early withdrawal before the natural end of school year parents are required to submit a 30-day withdrawal notice and as such are responsible for the tuition for 30 days after the notice. Remaining tuition payments, as part of the Tuition Agreement with FACTS, will be eliminated and the contract will be terminated. However, Fees, as categorized above, are not prorated and are due in full.
In the case of later-date enrollment in the school, Tuition and some Fees (Supplies and Field Trips Fees) will be adjusted accordingly, but all other fees apply in full
The entire payment of the tuition for the school year must be fulfilled by May 20.
The school reserves the right to change the fees as deemed necessary without notice.
FIANCIAL AID
The school offers financial assistance to students who meet the school's admission criteria but have financial difficulties. Please contact the office to make an appointment with the school’s director and bring the following documents:
REFUND POLICY
The school requires a 30-day notice for withdrawal.
In the case of withdrawal, the Application, Registration, Re-enrollment and all school Fees mentioned above are not prorated and non-refundable.
Any Tuition paid beyond the 30-day notice in the case of early withdrawal will be refunded by a check.
Any fees paid directly to FACTS (such as portal fees, payment return fees, etc.) can be negotiated directly with FACTS.
Please note that Kindi Academy reserves the right to remove any student or family without notice for any reason such as student conduct, parent or family member conduct, poor academic performance, or any other reason the school deems acceptable. Tuition will be prorated to the date of removal and any extra paid tuition will be refunded through a check. Paid Fees are not prorated and non-refundable.
All tuition and fees are handled electronically through FACTS. Parents must create an account with FACTS. We have the link on our website under the Parents tab. No form of manual payment is accepted.

- Tax returns for the past two years (both parents if not filed jointly)
- Average monthly expense sheet for the household
