Our first to eighth graders explored a lot of scientific concepts in a natural setting, from torsion and surface tension in physical science to rods and cones in biological science in a 3 day trip to Wisconsin. Our students had a great time and returned with many wonderful stories to share. They look forward to going back next year. We sincerely thank Mr. Jim Casey for providing the school with all the African artifacts to be displayed during Black History Month. Mr. Casey further went to donate a marvelous painting woven completely from tree bark to the school. 'Make It and Take It!' was organized by Ms. Vicki Marks and hosted by Kindi Academy's Green Committee. Attendees were able to manufacture their own beauty care products and cleaning supplies from natural material free from harmful chemicals. Thank you to all who made it out, with special thanks to our volunteers. |
